An Overview of the West Virginia Bowhunters Association One-Day Shoot
On June 21st, bowhunters will have a chance to participate in a unique 3D shoot at the Crossfire Archery Course. This new location provides a variety of terrains and unique shots, making it an ideal location for this event. The course is crafted to challenge your accuracy and strategy, offering real-life hunting scenarios that keep participants engaged.
The course includes targets at distances ranging from 15 to 50 yards, simulating various hunting conditions. This guarantees both an exhilarating experience and a great test of skill.

What to Expect
Prepare yourself for a welcoming atmosphere and real excitement when you arrive at the Crossfire Archery Course. The event will start at 9:00 in the morning, providing ample time for archers to get settled and warm up on the practice range prior to their shoot and will wrap up around 2:00PM.
Course Layout
The archery range features 14 3D targets that represent diverse wildlife like deer, bears, and turkeys (with one very exotic target). These targets are cleverly placed to create challenging angles and distances, offering an authentic hunting experience. For example, one target mimics a deer's position on a hill, urging you to adjust your shot for elevation—real hunting skills at play.
Format
The WVBA One-Day shoot will be a double-shot loop, allowing archers to shoot each target twice, making it a great way to practice for the upcoming season.
Scoring 20 points for vitals and 15 points for body.
Equipment allowed: Compound and Traditional bows, stabilizers, magnification, and range finders are allowed. Crossbows can not be shot at this event.
